What is Mnemographic?
Mnemographic is a publisher and a gallery for secure, verifiable, cryptographic art.
NFT? What is that?
A Non Fungible Token. A way to use blockchain-technology for distribution and to verify ownership of unique digital assets created in limited supply, in this case art.
Why EOS?
Mnemographic is blockchain-agnostic, but since Ethereum (often used for NFTs) is still using proof-of-work the same way Bitcoin does we feel the need to use more eco-friendly alternatives. EOS is 66,454 times more energy efficient than Bitcoin and 17,236 times more energy efficient than Ethereum. The CO2 output is also compensated for with carbon credits. To learn more about the EOS Public Blockchain visit eos.io, check out the EOS community on Telegram or Reddit or join the experiments with a new system for fractal democracy at Eden.
OK. So how do I start?
First, you need a wallet. The Anchor wallet, Wombat or Scatter helps you manage your private keys. Make sure you download a legit version. EOS uses human readable account names. (12 characters long, letters a–z, numbers 1–5.) You can also create accounts with shorter names with the EOS name service. Once you have your first account, you can also create new ones with block explorers like bloks.io, eosx.io, or eosauthority.com.
Keep your private keys safe.
Not your keys – not your art.
